After returning to music, Big Jon has been quietly but consistently making progress within the industry. Since the release of his EP on January 1st, 2025, he has performed at numerous open-mic venues across Baltimore. In addition, he has appeared on podcasts, been featured in published articles, and interviewed on Chicago 77.3, an internet radio station.
Big Jon later released Level Up, recorded at Lounge Studios in New York City on September 3rd, 2025. In October, he resumed recording in Baltimore, starting with the diss track Don’t Mess With the Flock. The song criticized the Baltimore Ravens organization for poor on-field results and repeated playoff failures during the Lamar Jackson era. It was released on November 5th, 2025.
He then dropped Persona on December 24th, 2025, and is currently preparing a new single titled The Flames for a January release. While continuing to release music, Big Jon has been actively searching for a manager or agent to help him reach mainstream audiences. His ambitions include touring nationally and collaborating with major artists.
Big Jon’s journey has been fueled by family inspiration. In October, his grandmother passed away at 89 due to kidney failure. Following her funeral in November, he vowed to continue chasing his dreams in her honor.
As 2026 approaches, Big Jon plans to record Reload in Los Angeles in March while continuing to perform and pursue new opportunities.
